THIS IS SORTA AU-ISH. It's more in Javert's time; Clopin is dressed as such, with the pony tail, high collar and ascot-ish thing. *laughs* Inspired by a chit chat I had with a Clopin and Javert fan. In any respect, they're both fun to draw, though, as "You owe me" had, it started out as a page of doodles. So, it's not that great. *laughs* But it's big.

Anyway, the basic idea is that Javert spends christmas alone and without celebration. Clopin has to change that. And he does it in his own, pushy way. Which makes him fun. I love Clopin/Javert interaction. It's cute. *laughs* They're the polar opposites of Paris.

The bit with Javert being pleased with getting coal (pleased? Is that the right word? eh... not exactly... how about "not exactly thrilled but not pissed off because, hey, it's not a stupid sweater anyway"), well, anyway, it was my friend's idea. I won't take any credit for it.

Javert having a "crush" on Esmeralda is from a bunch of old chat sessions I used to have. Which is actually where the Clopin/Javert pictures sprouted from.
