Final Fantasy IX: The New Mist

Synopsis: 10 years after the events of the game, Zidane and company, and some new comrades reunite to face a new evil that has arisen to threaten Gaia.

Episode 1: A 10 year reunion

On Eiko's sixteenth birthday, all converge on Lindblum castle for the celebration. Much to the surprise of everyone, Amarant turns up after having all but disappeared into the mountains for 7 years.

"Screenshots" of a scene from a Final Fantasy IX anime sequel. Amarant meets old comrade Freya again, and they fall back into the groove of things pretty fast.

THAT. Just made me laugh out loud. Lots of people say they do to as a way of speaking, but I don't remember actually laughing out loud at reading a comic in MONTHS. This is just amazing, and the art is strikingly good too.

I must admit that although I am a fan of FF9 and love dearly FF fanfictions and pairings, I've never been really interested in FF9 that way, if you see I mean. But you single-handedly got me hooked on the thing. Congrats on that one ;)
