Today, I had a horrible horrible horrible fight with my dad. I don't want to go over it here. I've had to explain it over and over again and my dad was really out of line this time (everyone acknowledges it in the house, but we can't say so because...yeah), but he's quitting smoking after 30+ years, so I guess I have to forgive him for that... Though you can only take getting called lazy, idiot, good for nothing so many times in the span of ten minutes.

ANYHOW... to get away from the yelling, I locked myself up in the guest room where Glo was doing her sewing and listening to George Harrison. That cheered me up. I didn't have anything in there with me that I could use other than a couple legal pads and ballpoint pens, so after writing an angry letter to dad (which will end up in the trash tomorrow), I started to doodle...

I HATE DOING ACTUAL DRAWING WITH BALLPOINTS >.< But for doodling it's fun enough. I just hate the smears and crap... ALSO NO ERASERS MEANS GLARING MISTAKES. So that's my excuse. Sorry people. :C

ANYHOW... it's the Beatles from the fanfic/novel With Strings Attached. I want you to read the descriptions, go "WHAT THE HELL THAT SOUNDS SO WEIRD" and realize that when you actually READ the story and the changes and everything, it actually strangely enough doesn't come across as stupid. Everything's done for a reason and it's got an interesting sort of plausibility to it, which is weird enough, considering the subject matter and the plot.

John - given wings, a buff body, super hearing and the water gem the kansael (that teardrop thing on his chest). Has a never ending need to eat thanks to the amount of energy he has to use up, and his hearing can keep him up at night.

Paul - Has been turned to Diamond. Very strong and impervious to a lot of things, but has to display extreme caution or he could slice your foot off just by accidentally kicking a stone in your direction. No hugs. :C

George - Given a tribunal ring that gives him the ability to transform into different animals. An imperfection in the ring allows him to transform into irregular animals (flying horses sometimes), but that same imperfection sometimes causes the ring to stick, meaning he can't change form for a certain period of time. Also, his brain can be overcome by animal instincts at points if he doesn't pay attention.

Ringo - Psychic ability of mindsight and telekinesis (In the book, he describes his ability to pick things up as using his mental hands, so that's why I drew them like that >.<. Requires extreme concentration and in life threatening situations he's been known to randomly teleport without knowing where the hell he's going to end up, which is not good on an important journey.

I say again, I actually enjoyed this story Witty and fun and all Tolkien/Dungeons and Dragons esque. Actually, them being the Beatles has hardly anything to do with the book--it could've been written as an adventure story for four other people but for the personalities and the motivations, which is an interesting thought. Loved it.
