After Amarant disappears, Freya goes off to find him and on the way, picks up Alleyway Jack. A snarky informant who became a smart mouth travelling buddy, Jack helps Freya down the path of discovery and forgotten legends. As Salamander Coral's past, present, and future begin to unravel, it becomes apparent that Jack is much more than he seems.
...Reading fics still. *laughs* That's the gist of what I got at the moment, and I was never good at summaries so, bear with me. Basically, Freya's looking for Amarant, and she finds out a lot of things about him and why exactly he left and planned to do... It's actually really interesting imo. That is a terribly awesome fic, and I love Jack and Freya working together (read: verbally assaulting each other), and I love this pic with Jack and Freya together (she looks so serious-mysterious in that cloak--it's lovely, and suits her oddly well.)
