Taken at the park just outside of Lucy's classroom, Father's day, June 2001 by Hannah.

Scrawled on the back of the Photo: "Bert and Lucy on the tire swing, Father's day. No one threw up this time. Bert let her out of the house wearing one sock again, but she let him out of the house without his shoes! Like father like daughter."

A little more than a month later, Hannah files for divorce.

It's memories like these that made Bertrand wonder why.

Omigosh, this basically made my heart melt into a big pile of goo. That's just how sweet it is. ^_^
And sad, because of what happens afterwards. :(
Which, I guess, would make it bittersweet.
But anyway, this is amazing!

You make me cry Ghia. BECAUSE WE ALL KNOW BERT TURNS INTO NED! Who, while cute and adorable, albeit smelly, is not Bert. ;__; I hope Lucy makes it through the apocalypse alright.

This is so darling, love that you gave the picture so much details and a description, it adds to its greatness :heart: Heehee, I have a feeling Bertrand/Ned would've gave her a completely different sock for her other foot if he had remembered C: Can't wait for the rest of his backstory.
